Student Resources

The Television Department has a variety of resources to support its students. Financial support is available through scholarships and paid work-aid positions. Production support is provided through PAF grants. Networking support comes through your membership in TVAS (Television Arts Society) where we keep students involved with activities such as screenings, video festivals and field trips. Career support and invaluable experience can be gained through internships at networks, production and post-production houses from Chicago to Los Angeles to New York.

BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

There are so many ways to get the most out of Columbia. Along with the countless events, screenings, lectures and exhibits occurring college-wide, the TV Department offers a variety of ways for its majors to get involved to complement their experience in the classroom.
