Stephanie Shaw has been a theatre critic for the Chicago Reader, and a member of the Neo-Futurists theatre company, writing and performing regularly for the group's late-night hit Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind. She has written and performed in works at numerous Chicago-area theatres, including Apple Tree, the Body Politic, Wisdom Bridge, Oak Park Festival Theatre, Stage Left, Lifeline, the National Jewish Theater, the Royal George, and the Curious Theater Branch. She holds a B.A. in Theatre and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Columbia College Chicago, where she now teaches solo performance, acting, and musical theatre as well as directing.
