Internship Experience

An internship is a focused for-credit work experience in some aspect of your chosen profession. It is never too early to begin thinking about an internship.

Internships:

Provide on the job training opportunities
Expose you to the real world of professional theatre making
Allow you to explore your chosen field of study outside of the classroom
Enhance your career trajectory
Deepen your understanding of one particular area

Internship Pre-requisites: 60 hours of credit, One semester residency completed at CCC & GPA of 3 point or above

HOW TO APPLY FOR AN INTERNSHIP

Theatre Department Internship Fairs

Each semester Columbia College Chicago's Theatre Department sponsors an Internship Fair. Theatres and agencies are invited to participate by sending representatives to host individual booths and speak with interested students.
