Tom is the Costume Shop Foreman in the Theatre Department where he also teaches Costume Construction 1 and 2. Tom began his professional costuming career in 1987 working as the Resident Costume Designer and Costume Shop Manager for The Berkshire Public Theater in Massachusetts.
As a designer, Tom has worked with Peninsula Players, Writer's Theater, The Huron Playhouse, Seanechi Theater Company, Village Players, the Toledo Repertory Theater, Columbia College and City Lit Theater Company where in 2003 he won the non Equity Jeff award for Costume design for their production of Tartuffe. As a stitcher, Tom has worked for all of the above plus Chicago Shakespeare Theater, The Goodman Theater and The College of DuPage. He has been on staff at Columbia since the fall of 1998.
