Upward Bound
Upward Bound is the oldest of a group of federally funded programs known as TRIO. It is funded by the U.S. Department of Education. Currently there are about 800 Upward Bound programs throughout the United States. The purpose of Upward Bound is to help students from families with limited financial resources prepare for college.
