Fulbright US Student Program

The International Programs office is the advising center for Columbia students interested in the Fulbright U.S. Student Program.

This program is for graduating seniors, MFA candidates, and recent alumni and does the following:

• Awards grants to U.S. citizens in all fields of study
• Operates in more than 140 countries worldwide
• Awards more than 1,200 grants to U.S. students to study overseas
• Offers one academic year of study, research, or teaching assistantship experience
• Projects may include university course work, independent library or field research, or professional training in the arts.

You could be one of more than 1,400 candidates who receive a Fulbright grant each year to go overseas. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program operates in more than 140 countries worldwide and grants are available in all fields of study. The 2013-14 application cycle opens May 1, 2012 with the deadline in October 2012.  For detailed information on your eligibility, awards available, and the application process, attend one of the Fulbright Information Sessions listed below.
