Michael Anderson

Michael earned a B.S. in communications and marketing at Southern Utah University and an M.F.A. in arts administration at Wayne State University through the Hilberry Repertory Theater Company. He has worked at Southern Utah University as a director of development and was a professional dancer for 15 years, spending most of his career with the Joffrey Ballet, both in New York and Chicago. While dancing with the Joffrey, he served three years as union delegate, participated on six negotiating committees, and served on the National Board of Governors for the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA) for nine years.

Michael has appeared in several documentaries and featured performances on PBS. Movie credits include Save the Last Dance and Robert Altman’s The Company, based on the life of dancers in the Joffrey Ballet. Michael has also appeared as a guest artist with The Lyric Opera of Chicago, Nevada Dance Theatre, Tulsa Ballet, Michigan Ballet Theatre, Metropolitan Ballet of Caracas (Venezuela), and Noriko Hara Ballet Company (Hiroshima).

Eva joined Columbia in March 2006 and served as gift processor and data associate before being promoted to her current positioning 2008. Prior to joining Columbia, Eva was retail manager for Tri-Corp Wireless. She is an honored graduate of Purdue University, where she majored in German international studies with a career emphasis in organizational leadership and supervision.

Eva directs prospect-centered knowledge management practices; works with the directors of development to create, track, and manage prospect portfolios; and leads development-backed strategies and processes. She also oversees prospect research and prospecting, develops and implements training programs for prospect management, and ensures that the appropriate prospect management process is in place for key development events.

Nancy Rampson

Nancy graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in English and psychology, and has a M.A. in communication from Wayne State University. She has worked in development and public relations at WTVS/Channel 56, the public television station in Detroit; the University of Michigan – Dearborn; Wayne State University; and Focus: HOPE. Nancy is a published poet and an award-winning screenwriter.

Ruby C. Schucker

Ruby C. Schucker earned her B.A. in Elementary Education from Northeastern Illinois University and has taught in the Chicago Public Schools system. A development professional since 1979, she has served as both a senior level fundraiser and consultant, helping organizations enhance their fundraising and outreach initiatives. Ruby has worked on behalf of Evanston Northwestern Healthcare, Chicago Youth Centers, Glenkirk, Friends of the Parks, the Off the Street Club, among others. She has been involved on nonprofit boards and volunteered for Chicago based organizations, including as Director of Development for Harbor Home Support Services. She has also worked extensively with local media outlets in her role as the spokesperson for various charitable agencies.

Amy Wilson

Amy joined Columbia in 2004 and now heads the college's prospect research efforts and supports fundraising efforts college-wide. She began her research career at Illinois Institute of Technology in 1998. Amy is an alumna of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she studied classics and Greek. While in college, she wrote the Sunday obituary column and entertainment shorts for a local newspaper. She has been active in the prospect research field as a conference speaker, writer, and panelist on development research topics.
