William E. Wolf

Mr. Wolf is one of the founding principals of BW Capital Partners. Mr. Wolf serves as a portfolio manager for BW Opportunity Partners, L.P. Additionally, Mr. Wolf oversees BW’s Private Equity business. Prior to founding BW Capital Partners in November 2011, Mr. Wolf was a principal at Talon Asset Management, LLC. During his 12-year tenure at Talon, Mr. Wolf had varied responsibilities, including being the Talon principal responsible for the oversight of Talon’s Private Equity investments, serving as Director of Research and serving on Talon’s Board of Managers. Mr. Wolf began his career in 1982 as an investment banker at Salomon Brothers Inc. In 1987, he joined the investment banking group of William Blair & Company where he worked for two years. In 1990 Mr. Wolf joined Henry Crown and Company to oversee a portfolio of privately owned businesses. Mr. Wolf currently serves on the Board of Directors of AnswersMedia LLC, Lava Lite, LLC, Mindcrest, Inc. and PlayNetwork, Inc. In addition, Mr. Wolf serves on the Board of Directors of the National Strategy Forum and is on the Board of Trustees of the Chicago Child Care Society. Mr. Wolf received an A.B. degree from Hamilton College in 1982 and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago in 1990. Wolf is married to Meredith Bluhm-Wolf.
