Registration for continuing graduate students begins on Monday, March 19.  The registration program will remain active until 11:59 pm (CST) Wednesday, May 30, 2012.

Registration Notes:

Check with your faculty advisor before registering for classes

Student Financial Services (SFS) will place registration holds on all student accounts that are not current with the Spring 2012 balance. In order to have your hold removed, your balance must be current. To determine if you have a hold, log on to OASIS, go to Student Profile - Holds. If you have questions regarding your account balance or pending financial aid, please contact SFS at their toll-free Help Line 1-866-705-0200.

You can register from your home computer or any computer with internet access. If you do not have access to a computer, you may register on campus using any of the open labs located  at 1104 S. Wabash, Mezzanine, 618 S. Michigan, Lower Level, or 33 E. Congress, 5th floor. You can also check the availability of labs within your department.

Adding/Dropping Classes:

Classes can be added, or sections changed, until 11:59 pm (CST), Wednesday, May 30. 2012

It is the student's responsibility to obtain any necessary approvals or clearances

Written or verbal approval from an instructor does not constitute permission to register in a class

You must be officially registered for a class in order to attend that class

Dropping a class or classes:

For the Tuition Refund Schedule please go to Tuition Refund at the bottom of the Tuition page.

Classes can be dropped  on-line on OASIS until 11:59 pm (CST) Monday, June 4. Classes dropped by the end of the first week of the semester are removed from the student's schedule

Students should consult with their program advisors and Student Financial Services advisors before dropping a class

Non-attendance is not considered official withdrawal. Students who register and do not attend class, and do not drop or withdraw, risk failing grades and tuition charges

Withdrawal from a class can affect a student's academic standing

A grade of "W" (Withdrawal) will be recorded for all classes dropped Tuesday of the second week through Monday of the fifth week (June 5 - June 25).  Withdrawals can  be completed on-line. Simply sign on to OASIS and go to the Register for Classes screen.

Students who are unable to drop or withdraw from classes on-line, may do so in person in the Records Office, 600 S. Michigan, Room 600, or   by sending a letter to:
