Important Dates - Spring 2010

Monday, January 4                                                                           J-Session classes begin. Classes can be added up to the day before the class meets. The drop deadline is the end of the first day of class, until 11:59 pm CST. The Pass/Fail deadline is the end of the first meeting day. The withdrawal deadline is the day after the first meeting day.

Monday, January 18                                                                         Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday - the college is closed and no classes will be held                                                                                            
Saturday, January 23                                                                       J- Session ends

Monday, January 25
Classes begin       
       
Saturday, January 30                                                                       End of Program Revision and late registration; last day to add classes or change class sections                                                                                     
Sunday, January 31                                                                               "Drop only" begins, students cannot add or re-add classes
       
Friday, February 5                                                                     Last day to add internships (must already be registered for other classes)
       
Saturday, February 6                                                                     Last day to drop classes. The class will not appear on your academic record
       
Sunday, February 7                                                            Withdrawal period begins. A grade of "W" will appear on your transcript. This grade will not be computed in your grade point average but will affect the completion rate requirement
   
Friday, February 19                                                                  Last day to declare Pass/Fail. The final grade in the class will be either a "P" or "F". A form can be obtained in the Records Office and must be signed by the instructor
       
Monday, March 15                                                                  Summer registration begins

Saturday, March 20                                                                                              Last day to withdraw from classes.                                                                 
Monday, March 22 - Sunday, March 28                                    Spring Break                                                                                           
Monday, March 29                                                                 Classes resume
                                                                                                                                                             Monday, April 5                                                                             Fall registration begins                                                                         
Saturday, May 15                                                                     Semester ends

Saturday, May 15 and Sunday, May 16
