Adding/Dropping Classes:

Classes can be added, or sections changed, until 11:59 pm (CST), Wednesday, May 28, 2014

It is the student's responsibility to obtain any necessary approvals or clearances

Written or verbal approval from an instructor does not constitute permission to register in a class

You must be officially registered for a class in order to attend that class

Dropping a class or classes:

For the Tuition Refund Schedule please go to Tuition Refund at the bottom of the Tuition page.

Classes can be dropped on-line on OASIS until 11:59 pm (CST) Monday, June 2. Classes dropped by the end of the first week of the semester are removed from the student's schedule

Students should consult with their program advisors and Student Financial Services advisors before dropping a class

Non-attendance is not considered official withdrawal. Students who register and do not attend class, and do not drop or withdraw, risk failing grades and tuition charges

Withdrawal from a class can affect a student's academic standing

A grade of "W" (Withdrawal) will be recorded for all classes dropped Tuesday of the second week through Monday of the fifth week (June 3 - June 23).  Withdrawals can  be completed on-line. Simply sign on to OASIS and go to the Register for Classes screen.

Students who are unable to drop or withdraw from classes on-line, may do so in person in the Records Office, 600 S. Michigan, Room 600, or   by sending a letter to:
