Important Dates - Spring 2014

Monday, January 6
J-Session classes begin. Classes can be added up to the day before the class meets. The drop deadline is the end of the first day of class, until 11:59 pm CST. The Pass/Fail deadline is the end of the first meeting day. The withdrawal deadline is the day after the first meeting day.

Saturday, January 25
J-Session ends

Monday, January 27
Classes begin

Saturday, February 1
End of Program Revision and late registration; last day to add classes or change class sections

Sunday, February 2
"Drop only" begins, students cannot add or re-add classes

Friday, February 7
Last day to add internships, Independent Projects and Directed Studies

Saturday, February 8
Last day to drop classes. The class will not appear on your academic record

Sunday, February 9
Withdrawal period begins. A grade of "W" will appear on your transcript. This grade will not be computed in your grade point average but will affect the completion rate requirement

Friday, February 21
Last day to declare Pass/Fail. The final grade in the class will be either a "P" or "F". A form can be obtained in the Records Office and must be signed by the instructor.

Saturday, March 22
Last day to withdraw from classes

Monday, March 24 - Saturday, March 29
Spring Break

Monday, March 31
Classes resume

Monday, April 7
Summer and Fall 2014 registration begins

Saturday, May 17
Semester ends

Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18
