Emergency Response Procedures

The Office of Campus Safety & Security....

Dedicated to educating the college community on emergency preparedness and response issues, we ensure that Campus buildings are staffed with Fire Safety Marshals. Emergency evacuation drills are also routinely conducted in all of the buildings the College owns.

In cooperation with the procedures established for members of our Emergency Response Team, we have set forth the following guidelines to assist you in responding to various campus emergencies.

The Office of Campus Safety and Security is committed to the well-being and safety of residential students. In compliance with the Higher Educational Opportunity Act of 2008, Columbia College has developed a policy and procedure to assist in the reporting and response to students living on campus who are believed to be missing.
