General Tours
We are pleased to offer general tours of our campus and facilities for prospective students, guests, and college search advocates. These walking tours take place Monday–Friday and are customized to the interests of those on them. All tours are led by current Columbia students and include the opportunity to meet and speak in person with members of our Admissions Office staff. Please check dates and availability of tours below. SUMMER CLOSURES: Please keep in mind that during the summer, some classrooms and departments may be closed due to renovations and general updates.

Please be advised that our tours are walking intensive. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for brisk walking.
Starting May 7 the Dance Center will also be included on tours on Mondays and Fridays. Dance students should schedule their tours on these days as well.
Please note:
- The Media Production Center will not be included on the tour June 8th or December 7th

Monday through Friday at 10:30am and at 1:30pm.
May 12-September 7: Saturday tours will not be offered

Group Tours
High schools, community colleges, and other organizations who are interested in bringing groups of 10 or more people on a tour of Columbia must contact Sarah Osterman at sosterman@colum.edu to schedule their visit. Please keep in mind that group tours are intended for students who are sophomore level and up, and that the maximum allowable group size is 30 students, plus chaperones.
Individual Department Tours
Along with the main group tours above, Columbia College Chicago separately offers department tours for Dance; Film and Video; and Television.
