| Since in the Fall of 2004, the UCC has created a home away from home for approximately 1,700 college students from Columbia College Chicago and nearby DePaul and Roosevelt Universities. The UCC has establish a one-of-a-kind community in downtown Chicago that has combined living, learning and a collegial spirit in a way never done before. Housing options in this state-of-the-art building include 2-bedroom 4-person semi-suites, 1-bedroom 2-person semi-suites and 1-bedroom 1-person semi-suites as well as two-bedroom quad apartment and four-bedroom quad apartment-style units, and 1000 spaces have been reserved for Columbia students to live together in suites or apartments.
The building, located between Congress and Harrison on South State Street in the heart of Columbia College Chicago campus, includes:
