This course will provide the high school student the opportunity to complete several traditional animation techniques, including cut-out animation and drawing animation, as well as the art of storyboarding. Emphasis will be on developing personal expression and communication skills while getting hands-on experience with professional animation equipment in a college setting. Included in the course will be an historical perspective and discussions of current animation directions and trends.
