This course is an introduction to the visual art of filmmaking. Through the conceptual processes of screenwriting and storyboarding, students will learn to communicate an idea visually. Use of a light meter, 16mm Bolex camera, and editing equipment will be taught, culminating in a short black & white film project. Equipment is provided.
