Showcase Friday, August 6th

On Friday, August 6th, students are required to participate in the culminating event of Columbia’s High School Summer Institute—the end of session Showcase. HSSI students and faculty assemble all over campus to share their finished works. Film, TV, and radio projects, dance, music, and theater performances, poetry and fiction readings, plus art and photography displays make for an entertaining way to close the High School Summer Institute.

Family and friends are invited to attend. Mark your calendar!

Please note: Some classes may have a separate final presentation held during their class time. However, the majority of classes participate in some way in the August 6th Showcase. Your attendance at this event is extremely important! Please arrange your schedule to allow for the extra day. The program ends on Friday, August 6th, even though your particular class may end on a Wednesday or Thursday.
