Getting your Student ID Card

All High School Summer Institute Students are entitled to and will likely need a Columbia student ID card. If you want to use a computer lab on campus, any academic department labs, the library or the student health center, you will have to present your Columbia student ID to gain access to those facilities.

Where and When to get an ID card

Prior to the start of the program:
When: Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, June 17th through June 27th
Where: 600 S. Michigan Ave., Rm. 601

During the Program:
When: Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM, June 30th through July 18th
Where: 600 S. Michigan Ave., Rm. 601

Please Note: No ID Services available Wednesday, July 2nd through Friday, July 4th, due to the 4th of July Holiday and the Undergraduate Orientation.

To get a student ID, you will need to present a photo ID and a print out of your HSSI class schedule to the campus ID staff.
