Tuition/Payment

The 2008 tuition is $175 per credit hour: $350 for each course earning two credits, $525 for each course earning three credits. Some classes may require students to pay an additional course fee or to purchase supplies or books for an additional fee.

High School Summer Institute 2008 Billing Information

To view your charges, log on to http://oasis.colum.edu using your Oasis ID and password; click on the blue "Student Financial Services" tab located in the bar just below your name, then click on the "Course and Fee Statement" link on the SFS page.

Payment of tuition in full is due within five business days of registering for classes. Students who have not made full payment within five business days of registering for HSSI classes may be dropped from those classes. If you would like to pay online via or CCCPay system, you must wait one business day after registering for class(es) before you can access the system.

Payment of housing charges should be made only after receiving and completing a housing contract.

Payment may be made on-line, by mail, or in person:

  • Pay On-line (credit card or e-check only):
    1. Once you register for class(es), you must wait one business day to be given clearance to use CCCPay.
    2. Login to Oasis with your Oasis ID number and password.
    3. Click on the blue "student financial services tab", then Click on "CCCPay"
    4. Choose payment option (e-check or credit card only).
      The College accepts American Express, Discover and MasterCard. Please be advised that credit card payments will be charged an additional service fee equal to 2.75% of the payment amount. No service fee is charged for e-check payments.
  • Pay by Mail (check or money order only):

    Please be sure to write your Oasis ID number on the check or money order. Make checks payable to Columbia College Chicago.
  • Pay in Person (cash or check only)
    The cashier is located at 600 S. Michigan Ave, 3rd floor. Cashier hours are 9am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Cashier accepts cash, money order and check payments only. Please be sure to write your Oasis Student ID number on all check and money order payments. Credit card payments, are accepted only on-line through the Columbia College CCCPay system.

Dropping Classes

For a full refund: you must officially drop your class(es) on or before July 8, 2008 by 5:00 PM. Full tuition is charged after that date; there are no exceptions to the drop policy.  To drop a class, you should login to Oasis and reopen your registration screen.  Next to your course selections, there is a spot to select “Drop.”  Select “Drop” and then click on submit and your class will be officially dropped.

Please note that non-attendance is not considered an official drop. Students who register but do not attend class will receive a failing grade.

Due to the intensive nature of the program, attendance at all class sessions is a must. Illness or family emergency are the only acceptable reasons for missing class.
