Joan and Irving Harris Scholarship

Joan and Irving Harris Scholarship is open to:
Outstanding fulll-time Early Childhood Education majors with a concentration in Teacher Certification
Outstanding high school seniors and transfers students with an intended major in Early Childhood Education/Teacher Certification and have a completed Admissions application, including supporting documents, received by the Undergraduate Admissions Office by February 1, 2010 for priority consideration.
Students who have earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents

Awards Based on:
Academic achievement

Renewable Award Amount:
Up to $8,000 ($4,000 awarded Fall 2010 and $4,000 awarded Spring 2011)
Priority Deadline: February 1, 2010
No separate application.
     Continuing students will be nominated by faculty.
     New students will be considered through their completed Admissions file.
