Presidential Scholarship
- The Presidential Scholarship is open to:
- outstanding high school seniors and transfer students who have earned fewer than 17 credit hours and plan on entering for the first time in the fall semester
- students able to submit samples of their creative work that demonstrate strong accomplishment, talent or ability in their intended major
- students who have earned a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 (or equivalent)
- students who have a completed Admissions application file received by the Undergraduate Admissions Office before February 1, 2010 (Please note: it is not necessary to have been accepted to the college at the time you apply for this scholarship.)
- students who are U.S. citizen or permanent residents
Awards based on:
- academic achievement and demonstration of talent, ability or accomplishment in the student's intended major
Renewable award amount:
- $8,000 ($4,000 awarded Fall 2010 and $4,000 awarded Spring 2011)
