- Open to full-time students with a minimum of 24 hours earned at Columbia College Chicago
- Award intended to defray costs of study abroad programs offered through the Liberal Education department
- Merit and need-based
- Deadline: October 30, 2008 for J-term and Spring 2009 semester and February 13, 2009 for Summer 2009 and Fall 2009 semester
- Earned a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher
- Award Amount: maximum award $1500
