Transfer Student Scholarship

Open to outstanding transfer students entering the fall semester
Earned no fewer than 17 credit hours but no more than 65 credit hours from an accredited college, university or community college
Earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 (or equivalent) from the college or university most recently attended
Submit samples of their creative work that demonstrate strong accomplishment, talent or ability in their intended major
Awards are based on academic achievement and demonstration of talent, ability or accomplishment in the student's intended major
Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
Have a completed Admissions application file that is received by the Undergraduate Admissions Office before February 2. 2009

Award amount: $4000 ($2,000 awarded Fall 2009 and $2,000 awarded Spring 2010)
