Warren Lamb Scholarship


Warren Lamb is the originator with Rudolf Laban, of Movement Pattern Analysis, and developer with Judith Ketsenberg, of the Ketsenberg Movement Profile.

Warren is an international consultant in the field of business, research, therapy and education.  Warren's contributions t the field of Dance/Movement Therapy are unparalleled.  He has contributed strongly to a deeper understanding of the decision making process through movement analysis and is currently focusing his research on movement and gender.

This Scholarship is intended to enable a student to partake in the Department of Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling's Graduate Certificate in Laban Movement Analysis, a fourteen month, 18 credit program specializing in movement observation and analysis.  Based on merit and need.
  • Students in the Dance Movement Therapy & Counseling
  • International Students may apply
  • Award Amount and number of awards varies depending on funding (about 1-3, $500 awards each year), paid toward tuition.
  • Application Requirements:  Apply through the Dance/Movement Therapy Department.  Requires an application and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 in Graduate School.  Also requires a one to two page vision statement on how the applicant would utilize their certificate in the professional world. 
  • Deadline:  TBA  The award is announced at the annual student/faculty dance concert in July.
