Can anyone take summer classes at Columbia?
Summer
classes at Columbia are open to any degree-seeking student. Classes are
also open anyone admitted to the college as a student-at-large. A
student-at-large is an adult student (age 18 or older) who is not
seeking a college degree.
How do I get admitted into Columbia College Summer Sessions?Students (who are not currently enrolled) interested in taking summer classes at Columbia should
complete the student-at-large application, available in the Admissions
Office or to download from our website at www.colum.edu/Admissions/apply/sal.php
What are the registration deadlines?Students-at-large may apply to the college any time before the semester
begins on May 21, 2007, however, it is recommended that students
complete their applications at least one week before the semester
begins.
Once I've been admitted, how and when can I register for classes?Admitted students-at-large register during Open Registration beginning
on March 15, 2007, and ending at midnight on Tuesday, May 23, 2007.
Students register themselves online using the Oasis system using a
username and password that will be given to them by the Admissions
