In addition to supporting the CBMR's mission, CBMR Individual Associates receive the following benefits:

• Issues of all CBMR publications released during the year of membership (number will vary depending on publication schedule)
• A special membership price for each book in the Music of the African Diaspora series, offered on a one-time basis as the books are released
• Photocopying of research documents (according to the provisions of copyright law) equal to as much as $10.00 during the membership year
• A listing of member names on this site and in CBMR Digest
• Periodic e-mail updates that include job postings by CBMR Institutional Members, CBMR news, or other news items relevant to the field

Membership rates are $80.00 ($90 non-U.S.); student rate, $50.00 ($60 non-U.S.). For student memberships, the order form must be accompanied by a photocopy of a current validated student ID. Organizations are not eligible for Individual Associate membership.
