Research requests come from a variety of sources. Orchestras and performers consult the CBMR for possible repertoire; scholars require manuscripts and archival materials; the press and media request background information; documentary filmmakers seek information and visual materials; teachers at every level request information for use in their classes; students pursue information about topics for term papers and class projects; and members of the general public consult the Library for items of personal interest.
