Arts Education Partnership Forum
Partnering with Higher Education: Profiling What's Possible

Columbia College Chicago and its Center for Community Arts Partnerships is proud to host the Arts Education Partnership (AEP) Forum. This annual meeting will discuss the important role that partnering with higher education plays in arts education. The AEP is a national coalition of arts, education, business, philanthropic and government organizations that demonstrate and promote the essential role of the arts in the learning and development of every child and in the improvement of America's schools. The Partnership includes over 140 organizations that are national in scope and impact.

2005-2006 Project AIM Summer Teacher Institute
The Language of Story: Interdisciplinary Arts Learning Text & Image July 5-7, from 9-4 at Columbia College Chicago, 1104 South Wabash
The Project AIM Summer Teacher Institute is a three-day, invitational meeting offering intensive immersion for classroom teachers and specialists in Project AIM. The institute will be led by Deb Brzoska, Kennedy Center Arts Education Consultant; Cynthia Weiss, Project AIM Associate Director; and an experienced team of teaching artists. Teachers will receive 20 CPDU credit hours for attending. This institute is funded by the U.S. Department of Education Office of Innovation and Improvement.
