Course Authorizations

One other tool that faculty need to use to help students with the registration process is the Course Authorization tool.  First, be sure to talk with your Chairperson to find out the department policy on pre-requisite overrides.  If you have permission to authorize pre-requisite overrides or course waivers you will need to use this tool.  Select the reason for the Course Authorization from the pull-down menu.
