Extreme Course Makeover

Overview

As part of the Extreme Course Makeover, faculty will be invited to submit proposals for designing a new course or redesigning an existing course to be offered fully online according to best practices. A course development team consisting of an instructional designer, a librarian, and a digital media technologist from the CIT will work with the faculty member in developing and implementing e-learning modules, technology-rich course resources, and collaborative and interactive learning activities. Courses will be selected for The Extreme Makeover Project during the spring semester, and the team will work over the summer to develop the new course materials. Participating faculty will be paid a stipend and take an online course in online teaching.
