In November of 2012, the faculty/staff scholarship committee won the Culture of Philanthropy award from Columbia College Chicago.
Columbia's Got Talent recieved two Case V Awards: Best Volunteer Engagement Program (Bronze award) and Best Event on a Shoestring (Bronze award)

The grassroot efforts of the Faculty/Staff Scholarship Initiative were highlighted in Demo 11 and Demo 12.
