Lisa Goethe-McGinn - Flute, Head of Wind and Percussion Department. M.M., University of Illinois, B.M., Millikin University; Masters studies, University of North Texas; SAA-trained in Suzuki method. Member of the Ensemble NoAmnesia, MAVercik Ensemble, and Basement Junta. *

Andrew Carpenter - Saxophone.  M.M., Northwestern University, B.M., Ithaca College. Recital appearances throughout the United States, including the Dame Myra Hess Series (Chicago), and solo performances with bands and orchestras.

Matthew Coley - Percussion. M.M., Northwestern University; B.M. , University of North Texas. Percussion instructor at Evanston Township High School, Maine West High School and Stevenson High School. Founder and Artistic Director, Sonic Inertia Performance Group. Performances with Rockford Symphony, OperaMODA, MAVerick Ensemble, and Sonic Inertia.

Benjamin J. Cord - Trumpet. B.M. (trumpet performance) and B.M. (jazz studies), Performance Certificate in Jazz, Indiana University School of Music; additional studies at the Henry Mancini Institute and the Steans Institute for Young Artists. Extensive performance experience in jazz, commercial and classical trumpet throughout the Midwest.

Kate Eakin - Oboe and English Horn. M.M. (Oboe Performance), McGill University, B.M., University of Michigan. Performances with the Orquesta Sinfonica of Monterrey, Mexico; Dearborn Symphony, Rome Festival Orchestra, Plymouth Symphony, and Ohio Light Opera. Teaching experience with the Trafalgar School for Girls (Montreal, Canada) and at the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music in East Jerusalem.

Jeremiah Frederick - French Horn. M.M., Northwestern University, B.M., Lawrence University; additional studies at the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, Bay View Summer Music Festival, and the Aspen Music Festival. Performances with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, South Bend Symphony, Chicago Symphony’s Music NOW series, Contempo, and others.

Jarrett Lee Hicks – Percussion. M.M., (Percussion Performance) University of Nevada, Reno, magna cum laude; B.S., (Political Science) and B.A. (Music) Northern Arizona University, cum laude. Performances with the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra and as a freelance musician on drum set and vibraphone throughout the southwest.

Susan Levitin - Flute.  B.M., Performer's Certificate, Eastman School of Music. Member, Lyric Opera of Chicago Orchestra, the Chicago Ensemble; international tours for the U.S. Department of State; active recitalist , lecturer and clinician; founder of the Sherwood Summer Flute Institute.

Bryan McKinney - Trumpet, BM and MM, Northwestern University; a substitute instructor in the 06-07 school year for students from Benito Juarez High School; a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and has performed with the Aspen Music Festival and the Brevard Music Festival.

Paul Mundy - Saxophone and Clarinet.  B.M. (Music Education, in progress), Vandercook College; additional studies at Northeastern Illinois University (Saxophone Performance).  Performances at the Chicago Jazz Festival, Chicago Latin Festival, Chicago Blues Festival, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and VH1.  Worked with Chicago artists Buddy Guy, Angel Melendez, and the 911 Mambo Orchestra.  Teaching experience in the Arlington Heights, IL public school system, the Saxophone shop in Evanston, IL, and home studio teaching.

Anne Stanford - Clarinet. M.M., Roosevelt University; B.M., Crane School of Music, State University of New York at Potsdam; private study with J. Lawrie Bloom, Walter Wollage, Marilyn Lauriente, Arnold Jacobs, and Marlene Jenson-Hoirup. Principal clarinet with the Lake Shore Symphony Orchestra; former principal clarinet with the Minstrels Chamber Ensemble; recital and solo performances.

Jonathan Weber - B.M., DePaul University; M.M., Temple University. Performances with the New World Symphony, Haddonfield, Bay-Atlantic and Delaware Symphony Orchestras, the New Brass Trio, Chicago Sinfonietta, and the Bach Cantata Series at St. Luke's Church. Trumpet instructor at the Settlement Music School and the Darlington Arts Center in Pennsylvania.
