Sherwood Conservatory of Music is about the "live music" experience. For over 112 years, Sherwood has been bringing music to life. Students and audiences from all backgrounds and economic levels come to Sherwood for learning and enrichment. Some participate in individual and group music lessons, classes, and ensembles. Some just enjoy the many free concerts and events. Sherwood welcomes all and is truly Chicago's community music school.

Income from tuition and fees covers approximately 60% of the costs associated with these services. For the remainder, Sherwood depends on institutional grants and contributions from people like you.

With a gift to the Annual Fund, you can help Sherwood reach its goals to keep tuition affordable and continue to provide free services to the community. Ask about ways your place of employment may become involved with Sherwood through its grants program or sponsorships.
