Chicago Legacy Award

In memory of John H. Johnson

The Chicago Legacy Award honors those who have made a most significant impact in the Chicago community and helped open doors for future generations. Contributions will preserve John Johnson’s legacy by providing scholarships for Chicago Public School graduates to attend Columbia College Chicago through the Open Doors Fund, and raising the money needed for the preservation of the iconic EBONY and JET sign, the new library, and creation of the John H. Johnson 11th Floor Commemorative Office Exhibit.
