Third-Party Scholarship Award

• This award is given to students who successfully obtain a third-party scholarship applicable toward their tuition as a degree-seeking student at Columbia College Chicago.  Awards are matched to the amount of the scholarship(s) obtained up to $1000 per academic year.  This award is only applied toward the payment of tuition and fees and will not be applied if the student is already receiving assistance (from either CCC or from a third-party) greater than or equal to the cost of tuition.  Funds are awarded until exhausted and are not guaranteed.

Deadline:

• The end of the fourth week of each semester, at which time scholarship information must be received, processed and awarded.

Award Amount: 

•  $1000 annually

Eligibility Criteria:

• Undergraduate student in a degree seeking program
• Full-time enrollment (registered for at least 12 credit hours per semester)
• GPA greater than or equal to 2.0 (new students GPA determined from high school transcripts; continuing students GPA based on cumulative)
• Current FAFSA application on file with an EFC of $10,000 or less
  Third-Party Scholarships must be forwarded to CCC for payment of the fall or spring tuition
• Only those scholarships equal to or totaling $4,000 or less is eligible
