AmeriCorps
- Interested in community service for economic, social or enviornmental change? Are you at least 18 years old? Serving a year in AmeriCorps may be a solution. Their programs include:
- AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps: Work as a team on the environment, disaster relief, education and public safety.
- AmeriCorps Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA): Organize and develop a community service program, find resources and motivate volunteers.
- AmeriCorps State and National Direct Program: Work part time or in your own community on education, public safety or environmental projects.
- At the completion of service, you are eligible for an educational award (about $4,700), which you can use to pay tuition or other expenses, or to repay loans.

Military Benefits
- The Veterans' Educational Benefits Coordinator provides services to veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces and their dependents who may be eligible for veterans' educational benefits.
