Funding sources that Columbia College Chicago accepts are:

  • Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
  • Federal Work Study (FWS)
  • Federal Direct Stafford Loan Programs (FDSLP)
  • Federal Direct Parent Loan Program (FDPLP)
  • Illinois Monetary Award Program (MAP)
  • Other State of Illinois grant programs

  • Private Loans
  • Private scholarships and grant programs

  • Other miscellaneous financial awards.

Although every attempt is made to assist you with your financial need, you and your family are also expected to make a contribution. Financial aid is intended to supplement, not replace, the expected family contribution (EFC).
