Disabling the Pop-Up Blocker

When you click on the CCC Pay link, a new window will pop up. If you have your pop-up blocker enabled you will not be able to view or log into CCC Pay.

• Depending on which browser you are using, please follow the instructions below to disable your pop-up blocker. Once you disable your pop-up blocker you will be able to view and log into CCCPay.
• If you are using a google or yahoo toolbar, there could be additional pop-up blockers blocking CCC pay. You will have to disable the popup blocker on both your browser and toolbar.

Internet Explorer

Click on Tools →→ Pop-up Blocker →→ Pop-up Blocker Settings →→ Type: http://www.colum.edu/Student_Financial_Services/index.php →→ Add →→ Close

Mozilla/Firefox on Windows

Click on Tools →→ Options… →→ Content →→ Allowed Sites button →→ Type: http://colum.edu/Student_Financial_Services/index.php →→ Click on Allow →→ Close →→ OK

Click on Tools →→ Options… →→ Content →→ Click on Exceptions for Block pop-up windows →→ Type: http://colum.edu/Student_Financial_Services/index.php →→ Close →→ OK

Mozilla/Firefox on Mac

Click on Tools →→ Preferences →→ Content →→ Allowed Sites button →→ Type: http://colum.edu/Student_Financial_Services/index.php →→ Click on Allow →→ Close →→ OK

Click on Firefox… →→ Preferences →→ Content →→ Exceptions for Block pop-up windows →→ Type: http://colum.edu/Student_Financial_Services/index.php →→ close window

Safari

On menu click Safari →→ (uncheck) Block Pop-up Windows
OR
On menu click Safari →→ Click on Preferences →→ Click on Security tab →→ (uncheck) Block Pop-Up windows

Google Toolbar

• To let a pop-up through on a one-time basis, press and hold the CTRL key as you click on the CCC Pay link.
• Turn off pop-UP blocker by opening the Toolbar Options window and clear the checkbox next to pop-up blocker in the Accessories section.

Yahoo Toolbar

• To let a pop-up through on a one-time basis, press and hold the CTRL key as you click on the CCC Pay link.
• Turn off Pop-Up Blocker by clicking the Pop-Up Blocker menu and unchecking "Enable Pop-Up Blocker".

 

Please Note:

• If you've tried the methods listed above and CCC Pay is still being blocked, the window is being blocked by some other pop-up blocker, such as another toolbar you've installed, the blocker built into Windows XP service pack 2, or some other program such as an Internet security program or firewall.

• Due to the wide variety of programs that may be blocking the pop-up it's impossible to list them all here. 
• Please look for some indication on your system when the window is blocked, such as an icon or sound, to determine what's blocking the window from appearing. Check the "View Toolbars" menu in Internet Explorer to make sure all your installed toolbars are present so you see any indicators they may be presenting. Then check all your applications listed in the "Programs" menu of the "Start" button to see if any of them include a pop-up blocker that may be blocking your window from appearing.
