Word 3: Type + Image is the forth annual [C]Spaces exhibition celebrating the union of art and the written word. The exhibit features work from Columbia College Chicago’s Illustration, Graphic Design, and Poetry students, along with other Columbia College students who use text as an integral component of their work. Word 3 illustrates the different uses of typography in artwork and the interdependence of imagery and text. Work displayed includes typeset poems, original cartoons, creative typography, and artwork incorporating letterforms.
