What do students need to provide?

All transfer students must either pass Columbia's Basic Audio Systems final exam with a C or better grade or enroll their first semester at Columbia in 43-2110 Basic Audio Systems, to meet the prerequisites for advanced study in this major.

How long does it take?

Faculty will respond within 10 business days to the student's request. Faculty will record their evaluation on a Course Equivalency, Substitution, and Waiver Form. A copy of this form will be given to the student, to the Office of Degree Evaluation, and to the College Advising Center.

What will the student receive?

Office of Degree Evaluation evaluators will enter the credit into the student's record and issue a new or revised Transfer Evaluation Report to the student within a week of receipt of the Course Equivalency, Substitution, and Waiver Form from the department.
