Composed of elected student members, the ASL Club will promote a safe environment in which students can learn, grow, and be effective within their academic career, as well as affective members of society, specifically representing the deaf, interpreting, and hearing communities. The club will actively plan events for students to participate in to share their skills and talents with each other, Columbia College, and the community at large. The club will act as a student support system accompanying the language and cultural learning process required to become a professional, successful bi-lingual/bi-cultural individual.
