The Student Dance Organization (SDO) exists to be a resource for all dance students during their time at Columbia. We believe that community, collaboration and individual artistic growth are essential parts of a successful dance education. Our organization provides opportunities for dance students to be involved beyond their classes at the Dance Center as well as establishing connections in the greater Chicago dance community. Improv jams, performance/choreographic opportunities, peer mentorship and discounted tickets to dance performances around Chicago are just some of the many great things SDO is doing this year- Come join us!
