Latino Student Short Film Competition

Films submitted depict Latino culture by various filmmakers or a wider variety of themes by a Latino filmmaker. Latino Cultural Affairs is accepting short films up to 15 minutes in length in the categories of narrative/non-narrative, documentary, experimental, and animation. The first place winner's submission will receive a $500 prize and be screened concurrently with the 29th Annual Chicago Latino Film Festival.

The deadline for submissions is January 24, 2013. You must be currently enrolled as a Columbia College Chicago student (any major) to participate. Submissions cannot be returned. All entries must be submitted in DVD format with the application. Please submit your entry to:
