Major: Fashion design

Past life: I went to two other schools pursuing graphic design and then I kinda lost interest in that, so I worked on my gen eds and found my passion in fashion and designing.
What does it mean to be extraordinary? You’re taking it upon yourself to be a leader and a role model for others. When you’re extraordinary you obtain power to create change.
Learned the hard way: Life’s about making mistakes and learning from them even if the result isn’t apparent right away. Sometimes it takes a while for the silver lining to appear.
Favorite spot on campus: Sitting behind a sewing machine watching something I have designed on paper come to life beneath my hands
Favorite portfolio piece: A charcoal drawing I did of a feather. It’s the first piece where I felt like I was a real artist and that this drawing was a real “piece.” I’ll never part with it, not even for a million bucks. It represents and reminds me of what I am capable of.
Music that puts me in the mood to get creative: Hip hop!
Most necessary tools for creating: My brain. I have a big imagination.
I take my tea… with a lot of honey.
High tech? Low tech? or NO tech? So low tech! I always break electronic things and computers. I swear they have a secret vendetta against me, lol.
