Project Summary: Have a Nice Day explores the retail environment, focusing on retail workers and the effect that consumerism has on them, including the ways in which they are required to subjugate their identities to the role of server. Each photograph places the often-invisible retail clerk at the thematic center of the image, helping to explore the dynamic between customer and worker.
