Department of Science and Mathematics
Our Mission
The Science and Mathematics Department’s primary mission is to provide students with a comprehensive background in scientific and mathematical thought. It does this by providing instruction designed to help its students achieve rational thinking and creative problem solving to develop the flexibility of thought they will need in order to cope with continuing changes in the world; and to comprehend and adapt to specific technical and philosophical changes in their chosen professional disciplines.
