About the Ecenter


Columbia College Chicago (“CCC”) Arts Entrepreneurship Center (“Ecenter”) enables individuals, who create art and/or are engaged in the business of the arts, to establish successful careers as arts entrepreneurs.
The Ecenter provides arts entrepreneurs with a unified approach to entrepreneurship and the business world. The Ecenter aims to educate and enable CCC graduates and Chicago’s artist community to create and manage new businesses in the arts.
In addition, we promote entrepreneurial careers and supports artists, and students make the transition into being self-employed a reality, and offers academic paths to encourage continuing education and economic progress.

The Ecenter assists:

• Past, present, and future graduates of Columbia College Chicago.
• Chicago land artists in gaining access to capital and SBA loans.

Ecenter acts as a liaison between artists and the lending community. We facilitate outreach opportunities with bankers, investors, and government agencies as well as business related counseling services. We offer portfolio reviews, informational seminars, training sessions, and education programs for artists to encourage and support establishment of new businesses and foster growth of existing arts businesses. We will offer certificate and continuing education programs to artists, arts entrepreneurs, and arts managers.
