Fourteen full-time faculty, part-time faculty, and visiting lecturers who are, primarily, professional practitioners from the arts, entertainment and media fields staff the AEMM Graduate Program. The expertise and experience of the faculty is the backbone of the AEMM Graduate Program.

Angelo Luciano, M. S., DePaul University. Budget and Priorities Committee of the College. He is a member of the Advisory Board to ShawChicago, and has served on the Advisory Committee Member of the International Connections for Cinema/Chicago and the Educator Practitioner Committee of the IL CPA Society. He holds a Masters of Science: Public Services Administration.
Philippe Ravanas, M.B.A., University of Wisconsin-Madison, M.S., Graduate Business School of Marseille, France. Former VP of Corporate Communications for Euro Disney in Paris and past Director of Client Development for Christie’s Auction House in London. Consultant for the Arts & Business Council of America, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and the World Trade Organization. Contributor to the International Journal of Arts Management and to the Journal of Cultural Economics.

Over twenty five years experience in senior management positions for cultural institutions including the Museum of the City of New York, the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. and the Children’s Museum of Manhattan.

Margie Nicholson, M.B.A., Northwestern University, M.A. University of Wisconsin-Madison. Associate Professor. Formerly managed the program of support for media centers at the MacArthur Foundation; served on grant review panels for the NEA and the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Technology Opportunities Program; organized conferences on nonprofit communications and leadership with the Donors Forum of Chicago, Executive Service Corps, and Community TV Network; Vice-President and C.O.O., CAN-TV Network.
Joseph Roberts, Ph.D., University of Chicago. Associate Professor. Testing research models on how individuals and artists become self-employed and engage the world of entrepreneurship. Participates in Entrepreneurship Research activities such as the University of Chicago Entrepreneurship Project, Babson ERC project and pursuing own research in the field of Entrepreneurship, Small Business Management and Economic Development.
Paulette Whitfield, M.S.J., Northwestern University. Associate Professor. Formerly Director of the Marketing Program, Columbia College Chicago, Marketing Communications Department.
James Kimo Williams, M.A., Webster University. Associate Professor. Fulbright Specialist; International Arts Management Consultant; Founder/performer and manager of the “Lt. Dan Band” music group. Internationally recognized composer and music educator. Owner of One Omik Music Publishing Company and Little Beck Music Recording Company.
