Media Management

Media Management leads to professions across all media platforms: broadcast, electronic (new media), film, and print. The curriculum, therefore, is categorized by the various occupations and disciplines of media. This is guided by the underlying principle that certain fundamental skill sets and capabilities within these various disciplines apply to the media platforms of broadcasting, electronic, film, and print.

The AEMM curriculum is divided into three levels. Students may take Level I, Level II and Level III courses concurrently, provided prerequisite requirements are met. Please view the core requirements courses for all AEMM majors.

Students must choose one of the following tracks within the Media Management concentration: Management/Engineering/Legal, Development/Production/Programming, Marketing/Sales/Distribution/Aquisition, or Aesthetics/Criticism. Select one and declare it officially in the Advising Center to ensure the most accurate Advising Guide. Complete 12 additional credit hours within your chosen track.
